Hurricane Update (as of Saturday, Sept 6th @ 10:30 PM)

 

Current Status: Monitoring the National Hurricane Center's forecast of Ike.  Please continue to watch this storm and it's predicted track and make any necessary preparations.

 

Please be advised that the emergency contact phones messages will be updated as information is available.  Our mill works with the local EMA departments to insure we use the most up to date information available to assess the situation.

In addition to the Emergency Phone Numbers ARP plans to use to communicate with employees in the event of a storm or other disaster, the EMS and Association of Monroe County Fire Department has agreed to assist us using the following:

 

;       In the event phone service is lost, a written “Back to Work Notice” will be posted by the Monroe County Emergency Management Association on a Community Bulletin Board to the left of the front entrance of the Monroe County Courthouse in Monroeville.

;       Also, employees in outlying areas of Monroe County may go to their nearest volunteer fire department where radio communications will be utilized for local employers to communicate “Back to Work” information

 

 

Ike - 5 day forecast cone has a margin of error of 300 miles on day five and historically is correct 60-70% of the time.
